6th Iranian Joint Cardiovascular Congress – Tehran 2018 (ICJC), held 27th Feb -2nd March 2018.
TAIMAZ Co, as the main sponsor of the congress has presented Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS).
Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) is a catheter-based imaging technology that allows physicians to visualize blood vessels from the inside out. Cross-sectional images help assess presence and extent of disease, plaque geometry and morphology, guide wire position during lesion crossing, and stent position post-treatment. IVUS helps to decide, guide, and confirm the right interventional treatment for each patient.
Philips Image Guided Therapy (IGT) Devices provides a full line of IVUS catheters to help guide patient treatment approach for both coronary and peripheral applications.
Similar to the previous three ICJCs, most of the Iranian cardiovascular associations and societies combine their annual meetings ( 23rd Congress of The Iranian Heart Association,12th Congress of The Iranian Society of Cardiac Surgeons, 11th Congress of The Iranian Society of Cardiac Anesthesia, and 10th Congress of The Iranian Society of Echocardiography, 1st Congress of The Iranian Heart Rhythm Society, 6th Congress of Iranian Cardiac Nurses Society, 10th Congress of Iranian Society of Extracorporeal Technology, 6th Congress of Iranian Society of Pharmaceutical in Cardiovascular Branch and 10th Congress of Iranian Physical Therapy Association in Cardiopulmonary Branch ) also in collaboration with Iranian Heart Rhythm society and Iranian Society of Interventional Cardiology to produce the upcoming grand gathering of the luminaries of cardiovascular medicine.
