iii. 5.3.d. 5. Points or Miles awarded for Qualifying Events held at Participating Properties in international locations are based on local currency converted to U.S. dollars. The amount of Points earned at Participating Properties where a non-U.S. dollar currency is used will be calculated based on Qualifying Charges converted to U.S. dollar at the exchange rate selected by the Company. Upon reaching certain milestones, a Member will earn elite membership status and become a Silver Elite, Gold Elite, Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite or Ambassador Elite Member (collectively, “Elite Membership Status,” or “Elite Status”).
